​Swimming Sessions and Parties

Mermaid and Shark Experiences

60 minute sessions run for a maximum of 8 swimmers at one time. These sessions are designed to allow swimmers to experience wearing the monofin and tails; they'll learning new skills, swim and play games whilst wearing the tail. Water safety techniques will be covered in this session.

Swimmers will leave the sessions having had a great amount of fun, with new swimming skills, a photo of themselves in their tail and a certificate of attendence

A swim test will be covered at the beginning of the experience session to ensure the swimmer is strong enough to wear the tail and compelte in the session fully.

Photo opportunites for parents and carers to take photos will be available at the beginning and end of the sessions

Mini Mermaid and Shark Sessions

Deigned for swimmers wanting to be Mermaids and Sharks but not able to complete the minimum swim requirements for the full sessions yet. Swimmers need to bring a responsible adult into the pool with them to take part in the session.

 45 minute sessions run for a maximum of 8 swimmers at one time. These sessions are designed to allow swimmers to experience wearing the monofin and tails, swimming and playing games whilst wearing the tail. Water safety techniques will be covered in this session.

Swimmers will leave the sessions haveing a great amount of fun, with new swimming skills, a photo of themselves in their tail, a certificate of attendence and a small gift.​

Opportunites for parents and carers to take photos will be available at the beginning and end of the sessions

Mermaid and Shark Parties

Mermaid and Shark Parties run for a total of 60 minutes in the water and 60 minutes available in the party room. A party of up to 8 swimmers will cost £220.00, larger parties of up to 12 may be able to be catered for on request, addtional cost for additonal swimmers.

Parties are designed to be fun and allow children to experience swimming like a Mermaid or Shark in the pool. Swimmers will experience wearing the monofin and tails, play party games in the pool, learning skills and allow freeswim in the tails.  . Water safety techniques will be covered to ensure all swimmers are safe in the pool..


A swim test will be covered at the beginning of the party session to ensure the swimmer is strong enough to wear the tail, weaker swimmers will be able to join in with party without the tails on.

We can run a party at your home pool or we can recommend a pool to run the party at. We can also offer catering for the party if required.


Minimum swimming requirements are required to ensure all swimmers are safe in the pool.


Important Information

Minimum swimming requirements are required to ensure all swimmers are safe in the pool before wearing the tails. Swimmers must be able to swim a minimum of 25m, Tread Water for a minimum of 60 seconds, float on both front and back, roll from front to back in a swimming position and be able to swim a minimum of 5m in dolphin kick.

What is Fin2Fit? 

Fin2Fit is a Swim England and RLSS accredited monofin and tail swimming course giving swimmers the experience to swim like Mermaids, Merboys and sharks.

Using the Monofins and Tails  we offer Mermaid and Shark swimming experiences, lessons and Parties  

Our courses teach swimmers how to use the Monofins, both with and without the tails. The Courses allow swimmers to work towards Bronze,Silver and Gold Shark and Mermaid awards, as well as distance awards swimming in the tails and monofins.

Benefits of wearing monfins when you swim include helping to improve the body position and techniques in swimming strokes and skills, Improvement of fitness and cardiovascular conditioning, increase ankle flexibility and most importantly swimming with the monofins are so much Fun!
